ESPP Release Notes - Version 21.18 (Oct 7, 2021)

These release notes describe changes made to the ESPP Employee Stock Purchase Plan management platform in version 21.18 on Oct 7, 2021. System updates are comprised of features and fixes that are deployed in regularly scheduled major and minor releases.

ADMINISTRATION
  NEW AND ENHANCED FEATURES
  1.1 ROLLBACK: ESPP | Post Term and Post Withdrawal Contributions to be show on reports PRE APPROVAL [CER-17755]
    In previous releases, the system was upgraded to include refund handling of contributions entered for withdrawn or terminated participants, where contributions were set to refund. We found an issue relating to the data being exported using an "all data changes" query. The issue was amounts refunded upon termination/withdrawal were being included in the query a second time when the post termination/withdrawal contribution was refunded. We will be re-releasing this functionality in a future release.
 

QUALITY UPDATES

  1.2 ESPP Purchase in one PP causes a purchase in the next PP erroneously [CER-18385]
   

A bug was identified when processing a purchase in one purchase period, and how that event would trigger a purchase in a subsequent purchase period for a terminated participant An individual or entity participating in an equity compensation plan and/or employee stock purchase plan only. With this release, terminated participants will not have any purchase records created in a subsequent purchase period after a purchase has been processed for a previous purchase period.
