ESPP Release Notes - Version 21.12 (June 3, 2021)

These release notes describe changes made to the ESPP Employee Stock Purchase Plan management platform in version 21.12 on June 3, 2021. System updates are comprised of features and fixes that are deployed in regularly scheduled major and minor releases.

ADMINISTRATION
  NEW AND ENHANCED FEATURES
  1.1 ESPP: Refund Additional Contributions for Terminated Participants - SOW [IS6444] [CER-13776]
   

This item resolved the handling of additional contributions added for a Participant who had been terminated/withdrawn during an offering period. Previously, these contributions were solely used to purchase shares at the next ESPP Purchase. Now, the system will reference the "Termination Contrib. Treatment" field (found via the path below) within the Offering Period setting or within the participant An individual or entity participating in an equity compensation plan and/or employee stock purchase plan Enrollment at the time of processing the ESPP Purchase.

If Termination Contrib. Treatment is equal to Refund, the system will generate a new refund record for each participant with post termination or withdrawal contribution records. If Termination Contrib. Treatment is set to Purchase, then the amount would be used to purchase shares for each participant with post termination or withdrawal contributions at the next ESPP Purchase.
